Larry Fox , Corrugated: New Constructions

Gallery Fifty is pleased to present an exhibition of new painted wood constructions by sculptor Larry Fox. This solo show features many wall-mounted and freestanding pieces that showcase the artist's unique combination of form, texture, color and dimension.

Fox's work draws heavily from three areas of his background: architectural design, film set construction and furniture making. By mixing and re-mixing these disciplines, he gives each piece a singular presence.

The artist invites contemplation by creating forms that challenge traditional sculpture techniques. The surfaces of his pieces are also treated with paint, adding even more dimension.

Fox's wall installations are designed to rotate 360 degrees resulting in various presentation. The collector may hang the piece vertically or horizontally, allowing the opportunity to interact with work.

The artist makes his home and studio in Omena, Michigan.
